Into the history books….

I've had a hard time getting good information on the wedding roses. My best sources say this was first bred in 1989 by Gregory.

Beauty
This red flower is a hybrid tea. It normally does not have a scent, although some breeders report having a deep scented variety. It is has a medium amount of thorns but still, use care when handling. It shows a loose arrangment on the blooms with very nice foliage. It normally blooms in the spring with some repeat flowering.

Gardening
The Ruby Wedding rose is not very shade tolerant, so it is best planted in full sunshine. In full sunlight, it does tend to be a strong grower. It has average disease resistance, but does not normally attract bees or other insects.
