Rose Centerpiece

This is for a creation similar to the one above. You can also find designs with candles in them as well. Here's what you will need:

About a half dozen or so roses, the more the better to fill the bowl, select colors that will match your decor

Some pieces of greenery, leather leaf is good

Several lemon leaf stems (if possible)

Several alstromeria (if possible)

See-through large bowl vase

1) Cut the rose stems, cutting underwater if possible to get them hydrated quickly. Cut the roses so that they are 8" or so in length.

2) Fill your large bowl vase

3) Wash the leather leaf, being careful to clean the stems. Trim the leaf to a good length. Place them in the bowl in a criss-cross pattern.

4) Put several cut roses around the rim of the bowl. The rest add to the center, standing up.

5) Fill the bowl with the rest of the greenery

Frequently changing the water will help keep your rose centerpiece clear and the flowers healthier.

Enjoy!
