The main reason to add an arbor is to add a place for shade in your garden. If you have a sunny, south facing garden, it can add a spot of relieve as you walk through. If you have a garden without a lot of spots for climbers, its also an excellent addition for those. There's a great feeling about being surrounded by flowers in all directions as. A purple shade will often look beautiful. As long as you choose good disease resistant varieties, you should be in good shape with managing things.
