David Austin rose: 'Summer Song'

It is a short climbing rose from Kordes in Deutchland. It is a wonderful rose, very free flowering in a strong deep pink color. Later silvery pink, very large, fully double, ruffled petals.

The rose is healthy and weather-resistant. It has a lovely sweet fragrance, that I just love. Very easy to propagate from cuttings.

*editors note: I see this rose is bred by Kordes. That alone would be good enough for me to try it - they are responsible for a great climber named "Alchemist". That has a very similar form and flower shape to Seminole Wind. Pale cream, with petals edged in dark apricot. And they grow in nearly any climate.
