Paper RosesIf you're artistically inclined, paper roses can be a great way to add some garden flair to your projects. Find out more about them here! You'll want to consider the material you're using with your project. There's the traditional origami route, which uses special square paper that's conducive to folding. You can use bristol board, which is heavy card stock. Construction paper can also work well, especially in a classroom setting. You can use other more decorative items as well, such as streamers. Almost any paper item can be used to create these flowers, there's even instructions on coffee filter flowers! Even toilet paper can work, although I suppose that would be if you're in a pinch! For an arts and crafts project, these are much easier than say, doing wood work. Beyond that, for most basic instructions you'll just need scissors for cutting. You may also need a coffee can and pencil for marking depending on the type of paper you are using. A pipe cleaner or other art supply can function well as the stem if you are using it that way. Given the variety of materials, the step by step instructions on making paper roses can definitely vary. Here is a good video I've found on this:
So they're not too hard to work with, definitely easier than glass!
