Graham Thomas

I love yellow roses and my favourite of all is Graham Thomas.

Where I live, in the south west of England, it's fairly mild most of the year round. It's now mid November and Graham is still blooming strongly. We haven't really had any frost yet, so there are still lots of buds.

Over the last week we've had heavy rain and strong winds but good old Graham is still blooming away adding a touch of sunshine to the dullest day.

I love taking pictures of this rose, I have rose buds, partly opened blooms, full blooms, and flowers that are almost falling apart, there's always something different to look at.

This is far and away the best rose bush that I've got. It's extra special to me in another way too. The plant was a gift from my parents when we moved to our house 11 years ago. Last year I lost my mum to cancer and so when I look at this rose bush it reminds me of her. She was always cheerful and brought sunshine into our lives too.
