Easy Going Rose

The Easy Going rose must have one of the best flower names around! How can you not feel relaxed in a garden full of these yellow beauties?

Easy Going Rose

This yellow floribunda was first bred in 1986 and is a Harkness. It was called Easy Going in part because of its low maintenance and its hardiness against disease, at least according to Harkness. Its closely related to the Fellowship, which is more orange in color.

This plant does have a rich amber color that is definitely unique. It also has a lighter yet pleasant fragrance. It does well along pathways. It will bloom continuously with little maintenance. As a floribunda, it has long stems and petals.

Easy Going Roses

Although its marketed as a "low maintenance variety" some people have reported a few issues with this flower. Its rated for zones 4-9, but it should get some winterization especially in zones 4. It does have some thorns so keep that in mind as well.
