Pictures Of Roses

Roses come in a variety of shapes and colors. But they are all beautiful in their own way ... or at least I think so! If you're looking for FREE pictures of roses, then you have come to the right place.

Fragrant flowers, especially old fashioned (or heritage/heirloom) roses have always been a passion of mine. There is nothing better than wandering into the garden on a summers evening, and being surrounded with the scent of "Alister Stella Gray." That passion soon developed into a desire to breed my own...which is something I hope to share with you on these pages.

Rose Of The Week - "Betty Boop"
This lovely hybrid tea comes in a wide range of hues...even on the same bush. As it ages, the red becomes pink, and the yellow fades to white. certainly an eye catching rose, and well worth having in your garden.

The red rose whispers of passion,
And the white rose breathes of love;
Oh, the red rose is a falcon,
And the white rose is a dove.

But I send you a cream-white rose bud
With a flush on its petal tips;
For the love that is purest and sweetest
Has a kiss of desire on the lips.
~ John Boyle O'Rielly 1844-1890
